Meet Lissa and Mckinsey! They are the dynamic duo behind Loom & Co, a company that sells stunning handmade rugs from Turkey and India. Read on to learn all about Lissa and Mckinsey!

Tell us a little bit about yourself!

Our company is owned by 2 Texas natives, Lissa Mitchell and Mckinsey Cavuoti. We believe a rug is such an important part of a room and can be used to bring a space to life. Mckinsey has made her home in Tulsa with her husband and their children. Lissa lives in San Antonio with her husband and their two girls

We are in love with your unique artisan made rugs! Give us a brief history of your career and how you started Loom & Co!

We have always had a love for design and color. We researched and researched and researched and finally decided to launch in February of 2020. We can't believe how our business has grown and we believe what makes a good business is having THE BEST customers!

Where are your favorite places to find design inspiration?

Traveling to different tropical, coastal spots is where we draw so much of our inspiration!

What is your favorite room to style?

FAMILY ROOMS! We believe making your family room feel happy and cozy makes for a cheerful home always!

You recently designed two different rooms with some of our pieces! The adorable bedroom with the Monarch Crown Bed, and the living room with our Nash Swivel Gliders. Could you walk us through the design process of each room?

We love to design rooms starting with the foundation (a rug!). I ordered Beatrice for my formal living and had a funky shaped space so I was in need of 4 small scale chairs. I love slipcovered furniture and when I found these Nash Swivel Gliders, the lead time stole the show and I knew I couldn't live without them! It has become one of my favorite spaces in my home.

My guest room featured a chinoiserie mural and I wanted a blush bed (for my mama to sleep in when she visits!). The Crown Bed caught my eye and I ordered it (without samples) in Como, Blush with Italian Blend, White piping. I put it together (SOLO) in 45 minutes from start to finish and it's the most drooled over room in my home. Well done, Coley Home!
