Tell us about yourself!

I am an interior designer, writer, and editor; I’m the founder and Editor in Chief of Fenimore Lane, and the host of our design podcast at Fenimore Lane, Talk Shop. I have two daughters (almost 5 and 2!) and I live with my husband and girls and our dog, Charlie outside of NYC.

How would you describe your design style?

My design style is rooted in classicism – layered, warm, personal – but tempered by an emphasis on tailoring and clean lines.

You recently added the BRADLEY CHAISE SECTIONAL to your home. Walk us through the design process of the room!

I loved the silhouette of this sectional; I built our sunroom around the simplicity of the shape; it’s very soft and cloud-like, and gives off a very serene feel!

This is so hard! All of our projects are unique in their own way, but a recent favorite was working on our Kips Bay Palm Beach space!

I love splurging on textiles and beautiful lamps and lighting; I love saving on rugs – sisal everywhere always!

My new collection from Chasing Paper (launching this August!) and Pierre Frey’s Braquenie.

Go-to places for design inspiration?

Old interior design books – I collect them!

3 favorite Instagram follows at the moment?

Favorite coffee table book?

All three of Gil Schafer’s books.

So many places. Morocco is high on the list for design related reasons!

Favorite book or TV show at the moment?

I am currently reading Unreasonable Hospitality (for work), The 5 Principles of Parenting (for momming), and Good Material by Dolly Alderton (for life) and each are all wonderful in their own ways – I’m constantly juggling multiple books at once. I’m currently eagerly anticipating season three of The Bear to come back on!!
