Tell us about yourself!

Born in South Africa, I enjoyed living in England before ultimately calling San Antonio, Texas home with my husband, Michael, and our three children. While attending Texas Christian University, I studied interior design while simultaneously beginning Nicola Bathie Jewelry. My worldly childhood and English heritage have undoubtedly had a hand in molding my style and designs to what they are today.

You have lived in several different countries throughout your life – how has this influenced your design style?

It has influenced the way I appreciate different styles.

You recently added the Bryant Bumper Chaise sectional to your home. Walk us through the design process!

I knew I wanted a pattern that would WOW but also wanted it to cohesively blend into the blissful room it was going in. Loved the Frenchie pattern and after deliberation on different colorways I ended up choosing Frenchie, Dove.

You are in the middle of renovating your dream home! What are you most excited about?

Living there! It is such a long time coming and I cannot wait for the interiors, I have been dreaming of them for the last 5 years.

Your jewelry line is stunning – what is your favorite piece at the moment?

The Paris Blue Flower & Embellished Tassels, I can't wait to wear them during sparkle season.

Go-to places for design inspiration, especially for your new house?

Places I’ve traveled; mainly English and French decor/architecture. A showroom. I get lost in textile showrooms, a fabric can give me all the feels and inspire on its own. Other than that, Instagram, and flipping through Coffee Table books.
