Our Customizer uses digitally rendered photos of our fabrics. For best results, please order swatches to see fabrics in person before placing your order.
Your slipcover will arrive enclosed in a Coley Home dust back! We recommend giving your slipcover a good steam to release any wrinkles leftover from shipping.
Spot clean upholstery immediately after any spills or stains occur by blotting the area using a mild solvent and clean cloth. Allow the area to air dry naturally. Slipcovers may be dry cleaned or machine washed if the fabric permits.

Shipping
We’re pleased to offer complimentary threshold delivery with every order. This service includes delivery of your item(s) to a secure, accessible location on your property, such as a front porch. Please note that threshold delivery does not include bringing items inside your home, garage, or into a specific room.
If the delivery carrier provides any upgraded services at the time of delivery, the associated charges will be invoiced separately after the fact.

At checkout, you’ll have the option to request a White Glove Delivery Quote, which includes in-home delivery and setup. Please be aware that selecting this premium service may extend your delivery timeline by 2–4 weeks.

Our custom headboard is made of durable foam and covered in a custom slipcover. Because our headboard is 100% foam and does not attach to the bed frame, it is compatible with most standard bed frames when placed directly against the wall.

Our mission to provide high quality, custom furniture with quick lead times starts with our materials, most of which are sourced locally!
Learn MoreGreat question - here's a quick breakdown of each style:
Fully Upholstered: The fabric is permanently attached directly to the frame. This creates a clean, structured, tailored look with a polished finish. Legs are typically visible, giving the piece a more elevated feel. Best for those who love a classic, put-together aesthetic.
Slipcovered: A removable fabric cover fits over the frame. Slipcovers can be taken off for cleaning or swapped out for a fresh look. The result is relaxed, effortless elegance - practical without sacrificing style. A great choice for families, pet owners, or anyone who wants easy maintenance.
Dressmaker: These pieces feature a gathered, flowing skirt that drapes all the way to the floor, fully concealing the legs. The look is romantic, soft, and decidedly feminine - a nod to traditional upholstery craftsmanship. This style is sometimes referred to as a "kick-pleat" as well.
Box Pleated: Similar to the dressmaker style in that it has a skirt that reaches the floor, but instead of a soft gathered ruffle, the skirt features structured, evenly spaced box pleats. The result is a more tailored, architectural take on the skirted look - polished and precise with a designer feel.

Your Twin or Queen Crown Bed will arrive in two boxes - one for the headboard and one for the frame. Your King Bed will arrive in three boxes - two for the frame and one for the headboard. All boxes are sized to be easily carried up stairs, unpacked, and assembled in any room.
The Crown Headboard arrives compressed - our patented headboard is made of 100% durable foam. We recommend opening it as soon as possible after delivery; the longer it stays compressed, the longer it will take to fully re-form.
The Crown Bed Frame arrives in a long rectangular box and comes with easy, illustrated step-by-step assembly instructions.
Our headboards are made of 100% foam, that’s how we get them so compact! They are guaranteed to be resilient, that being said, we recommend opening your headboard as soon as you receive it, and lay it flat for at least 24 hours. That time period will allow the foam to completely re-form and help with the process of applying the slipcover! The longer the foam is boxed up, the longer it will take to regain its original shape. Our Crown Headboards do not attach to a bed frame. They are intended to stand up flush against a flat wall and are supported by the mattress and bed frame.
If you have specific concerns, email us and we'll be happy to help.
We encourage customers to use the full Coley Home Bed Collection for the perfect fit. But, if you’re totally obsessed with your current frame situation, we crafted the headboard to fit against that as well. We cannot guarantee a perfect fit for every single bed frame or rail set on the market, but if you want to be sure- we suggest ordering a bed frame along with your headboard here. Because our headboard is 100% foam, it does not attach in any way to bed frames.

No you do not! All of our beds are platform bases, so the slat system we use is the perfect amount of support for your mattress. All of our bed frames are designed so that the mattress sits flush to the upholstered bed frame.
