CONTENTS:
Our frames are made with responsibly harvested engineered hardwood with interlocking glued joints that are corner blocked for durability.
Webbed seat bases are used in applications where sinuous wire springs are not an option to provide seating comfort, superior suspension, and durability.
All of the foam used in our pieces is CertiPUR-US® certified. Our foam meets standards for content, emissions, and durability. None of the foam used in our products contain flame retardants. All of our products are TB117-2013 compliant.
Spot clean upholstery immediately after any spills or stains occur by blotting the area using a mild solvent and clean cloth. Allow the area to air dry naturally. Slipcovers may be dry cleaned or machine washed if the fabric permits.

Returns & Made-to-Order Policy
Because each piece is made-to-order, we are only able to accept returns in cases of manufacturing defects or quality issues.
We kindly ask that you inspect your item upon delivery and report any damage or concerns immediately—both to the delivery carrier and to our team at hello@coleyhome.com.
We take great pride in the craftsmanship of our products and want you to love your piece as much as we do. To ensure you’re confident in your selection, we recommend using our Customizer feature and requesting swatches to experience the materials and colors in person before placing your order.

Frequently Asked Questions
See all FAQsOur furniture is handcrafted by skilled artisans in Claremont, North Carolina. We have a talented, dedicated team at our manufacturing plant — all with decades of expertise in the furniture industry. From product development to packing & shipping, we do it all in-house.
Our pieces are created using high quality materials and covered in beautiful fabrics. Because each piece is made-to-order and designed by you, we cannot accept returns unless there is a manufacturing issue or shipping damage.
We highly recommend ordering swatches and measuring your space prior to making your furniture purchase.
Because each piece is handcrafted rather than mass-produced, there may be some variances from piece to piece. Our wooden legs are made of solid oak and hand stained. Slight color variations are to be expected, due to natural wood grains.
Fabric dye lots may vary: slight differences in texture, color, or appearance among fabrics may be found, for example between swatches and furniture pieces.
A lead time is the amount of time it takes to make your piece from the moment you place your order to the moment it's ready to ship. Because every Coley Home piece is made to order - meaning we don't keep inventory on shelves and your furniture is built specifically for you after you purchase - there is a production period before it ships.
Lead times vary depending on the piece. Our Quick Ship Collection ships in as little as 10-15 business days, while our standard furniture collection typically takes a few weeks. Think of it as the time our team in Claremont, NC spends cutting, sewing, and crafting your piece from scratch.
Please refer to our Lead Times page, which we keep up-to-date.
For upholstered furniture:
- Vacuum monthly to remove dirt, dust, and pet hair.
- Flip and rotate cushions twice a month for even wear. Give cushions a good fluff to maintain their shape.
- Avoid contact with items that may transfer color (e.g., dark denim, dark throw blankets).
For wood:
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, high temperatures, and high humidity.
- Wipe down with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners.
For fabric-specific care, refer to our full Care Guide.
